laptops A laptop computer, or simply laptop (also notebook computer or notebook), is a small mobile computer, which usually weighs 2.2-18 pounds (1-6 kilograms), depending on size, materials, and other factors. Laptops usually run on a single main battery or from an external AC/DC adapter which can charge the battery while also supplying power to the computer itself. Many computers also have a 3volt cell to run the clock and other processes in the event of a power failure.

Panasonic Toughbook Wireless Display

The last two Panasonic Toughbooks were desktop-replacement laptops, which were heavy. This model is a light Ultra-portable which weighs only 2.6 pounds. For me, this laptop is more attractive than last two ones. It has 10.4" touch-screen with maximum resolution of 1024 x 768 (XGA) and works with wireless upto 300 feet far from the access point. Also, it has multi-client capability. It resists moisture and dust, vibration and dropping. One of the attractive parts of this laptop is its long battery life. It lasts for 10 hours which is very useful for long journeys especially, for business people who have various types of work. Unfortunately, it has four USB 1.1 ports which is slower than USB2.0. It works with Windows CE 5.0 version
